CSA is committed to taking care of our community, whoever they are and whatever their situation. That’s why we offer comprehensive services for all ages. You’ll find a brief description of each of our services below. To find out more information, simply click on the service that interests you.

Emergency Assistance
For clients in danger of losing their financial independence, CSA offers one-time assistance with rent and/or PG&E bills, as well as providing vouchers to meet the basic necessities of life such as clothing, transportation, and limited dental, vision and prescription assistance for uninsured children. Our Food and Nutrition Center supplements clients’ nutritional needs using a grocery store atmosphere where they “shop” for their weekly food needs and learn healthy eating habits.

Senior Services
Through our case management, community outreach and senior nutrition services, we help seniors maintain their independence. Our geriatric case managers provide in-home assessments, counseling and referrals to community resources. Community Outreach volunteers provide escorted transportation and shopping assistance. The Senior Nutrition Program, located at the Mountain View Senior Center, offers subsidized lunches every weekday to clients over the age of 60.

Homeless Services
Homelessness is a hidden reality in our community. Divorce or separation, loss of job, mental illness, substance/alcohol abuse, domestic violence, eviction or health problems are some of the circumstances of homelessness.

CSA partners with other county service providers to reach, case manage and assist individuals and families. The Santa Clara County 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness recognizes that the issues surrounding homelessness do not and will not end until a person is permanently housed.

Holiday Sharing
The holidays are often the most trying times for the area’s homeless and underprivileged. Through our holiday food and toy drives, CSA is able to provide clients with food and small gifts and toys, making the season a little brighter for those who give and those who receive.
